Massive craze for The Dark Knight Rises

It is normal for films of big commercial heroes to make a huge buzz at the Box Office before release. The same happens for a few Hollywood projects as well and something like this is now happening in Hyderabad for 'The Dark Knight Rises'. This is the third and final installment of the Batman series started by Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale.

There is a huge rush for tickets and all shows of the IMAX screen have been sold out for the next few days. The film has been shot extensively using an IMAX camera and the visuals will look superb on the IMAX screen, hence the rush.

Jr NTR Baadshah Release Date Fixed

Young Tiger Jr NTR and Star Director Srinu Vaitla are coming together for the first time to create sensation with the movie "Baadshah" under the banner Parameswara Arts produced by Bandla Ganesh. Now the latest news is that this movie is slated for Pongal release on 11th January, 2013.

Producer Bandla Ganesh informed the release date and the regular shooting of Badshah is currently going on at Milan, Italy. where a song and few important scenes are being shot on the lead cast of the movie. This schedule will continue for about 25 days and the makers are planning next schedule in Bangkok, which will begin from the first week of August.

Billa 2 director wants good stories in Telugu

Chakri Tholeti, the director of Ajith's 'Billa 2′, wants to find a good story in Telugu before he can attempt a straight film here.Chakri's 'Billa 2′ was released here as 'David Billa'.

"I will definitely do a straight Telugu film if I find the right story. Story is key here and if something fits my requirements, I will do it.", said Chakri. Chakri's previous film to hit the screens in Telugu was 'Eenadu', starring Venkatesh and Kamal Haasan.

Chakri was seen as a child artiste in the superhit film 'Sagara Sangamam'. Chakri expressed his happiness at Billa 2′s reception in Telugu and Tamil.

Hollywood takes inspiration from Kamal Haasan!

Celebrated filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, who made highly acclaimed flicks like 'Inglorious Bastards' 'Kill Bill' and 'Pulp Fiction', has used a Kamal Haasan movie as inspiration to shoot for some scenes. Astounding it may sound, but this seems to be the truth. In 'Kill Bill', Quentin Tarantino reportedly used a few techniques used by Kamal in the movie 'Abhay'. Though the film bombed at the Box Office, 'Abhay' had revolutionary technical ideas for its time.

Tarantino reportedly confirmed the same when Hindi director Anurag Kashyap asked him about it. When asked about it, Kamal expressed his delight at the same and said that Tarantino's appreciation is a vindication of his technical concepts.

K Raghavendra Rao's Shirdi Sai seems to have made a huge impact on Nagarjuna's life. Few days ago, at a press conference, he revealed that several strange incidents had occurred in his life ever since he began shooting for Shirdi Sai. In his previous interviews, he stated that he's not entirely religious, although he does believe in spirituality and after he began shooting for this film, he has begun to believe in the miracles of Shirdi Sai Baba. Now we hear that Nagarjuna is all set to go to Shirdi on July 26, along with his family. Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil and Amala will visit Shirdi on July 26, along with the rest of the film's unit. It's also the last day of the film's shooting. Sources close to the film unit has revealed that the film has come out extremely well and it has all the makings of yet another musical hit on the lines of Annamayya and Sriramadasu. M M Keeravani has composed the music and A Mahesh Reddy has produced the film. Shirdi Sai will release on September 6.

Trisha has reportedly opted out of Saamy's Hindi remake citing lack of dates. The film was later remade in Telugu as Lakshmi Narasimha. Now, K S Ravikumar has decided to remake the film in Hindi with Sanjay Dutt in lead role. Samantha set to join SVSC unit in August

Samantha is all set to join the team of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu in the first week of August. For the past two months, scenes which didn't involve Samantha were being shot in various locales in Andhra Pradesh since she had fallen ill. Now, she has told Dil Raju, the producer of the film, that she's join the unit in early August. The film stars Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Anjali and Prakash Raj in lead roles. Now that Samantha is fit again to resume her work, the film's shooting will go on smoothly. The film was being planned for release in the last week of September; however, it's likely to get postponed now.
