The muhurtam of Nitin's film 'Courier Boy Kalyan' was held today and the film's regular shooting will begin soon. The film is a bilingual and the Tamil version has been titled 'Tamila Selvanum Thaniyara Anjulam'. Noted director Gautam Menon is producing this movie and Prem Sai is the director.

Prem Sai has worked as an assistant director under Prabhu Deva earlier and he is making his debut as a director with this movie. Music is being scored by Karthik. Santhanam will be playing a key role in the movie.

The principal shooting of Balakrishna's upcoming film Srimannarayana is nearing completion. The latest schedule, which began in Switzerland on June 18, will go on till June 28 and with this, the entire shooting will be completed. Couple of songs are being canned in Switzerland and Italy. Talking about the film, Ramesh Puppala, the producer of the film said, "Recently, we shot a fight sequence and a song in Malaysia and they have come out extra-ordinarily well. It'll be a major highlight in the film. The post-production will begin in July and we are planning to release the film in August." Ravikumar Chavali is directing the film and Balakrishna is playing the role of a journalist. Isha Chawla and Parvathi Melton are playing the lead roles. Chakri has composed the music.

Mahesh Babu's Dookudu swept the first edition of South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) which was held last night in Dubai. The film bagged eight awards including awards for Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director and Best Music director. Dookudu had earlier bagged 8 awards at CineMAA Awards. Nayanthara was judged the Best Actress for her performance in Sri Ramarajyam. The previous night, Rana, Shruti Haasan, Trisha, Amala Paul and Nani won top awards in the Gen Next Awards. The glittering ceremony saw celebrities from all the four South Indian film industry come together to celebrate and cheer for one another. All eyes will be on the Filmfare Awards (South) which is going to held in Chennai on July 7. If CineMAA Awards and SIIMA Awards are any indication, Dookudu might sweep Filmfare Awards as well.

Apparently, for the first couple of days, he kept on okaying shots in a single take till Pawan Kalyan reminded him to check again and finally he came out of the mould of being a fan. Puri Jagannath, Ravi Teja, Ileana, BVSN Prasad, Boyapati Srinu, Gopichand Malineni, Bommarillu Bhaskar, Kona Venkat, Gunnam Ganga Raju, Raghu Kunche, Subba Raju, Ali, B A Raju were present at the function.

M M Keeravani released the first CD and handed it over to Raviteja and ileana. Bomarillu Bhaskar and  Boyapati Srinu were released the trailers. Raghu Kunche has composed the music. All the guests who attended the function were wished for the success of audio as well the movie.

Ajith starrer David Billa has been postponed yet again, if the latest reports in Kollywoodare to be believed. Till recently, there was a buzz that the film might hit the screens on June 29; however, the latest buzz is that the film will hit the screens on July 13. Apparently, Aascar Ravichandran, who's distributing the film in Tamil Nadu, didn't want this film to clash with 'The Amazing Spiderman' which is being promoted and released in a big way in Tamil Nadu. With S S Rajamouli's Naan Ee releasing the week after that, Ravichandran decided to release the film on July 13. The next biggest release in Tamil is Suriya's Maatran (Duplicate in Telugu) which is expected to release on August 15, which leaves almost a month's gap for Ajith's David Billa to rule the box office, at least in Tamil Nadu. The situation in Andhra Pradesh is quite different. After Rajamouli's Eega, two big films – Julaayi and Devudu Chesina Manushulu are releasing within a span of two weeks, leaving very few screens for David Billa. It remains to be seen how this change in release dates will affect the box office run of David Billa.

Chakri Tholeti has directed the film. Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah and Vidyut are playing important roles in the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music and Shoba Rani is presenting the Telugu version on SVR Media Pvt. Ltd.

S S Thaman is going to compose the music and the film will go on floors soon. Last year, BVS Ravi turned director with Gopichand starrer Wanted; however, that film failed to click at box office. Recently, he collaborated with Puri Jagannadh to write the script of Devudu Chesina Manushulu and we hear that he's also working closely with Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat for a Mohan Babu's film.
