Genelia D'Souza one of the frontline heroines of Telugu cinema has been banned for not taking membership in MAA (Movie Artistes Association). She was reminded many a time but she put a deaf ear to MAA and finally they have taken a serious action against her.
All Genelia has to do is pay 1 lakh rupees for lifetime membership in MAA. Despite being in Telugu industry for eight years, Genelia didn't bother to take membership. Movie Artistes Association issued notice to all the producers to not to extend support to Genelia.
Genelia is currently acting in Naa Ishtam and she doesn't have any other offers on hand. She is already at fag end of her career and we don't think this would bother her much. Genelia is a busy actress in Bollywood now.
