With Superstar Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in the leads, forthcoming Soundarya Ashwin's debutant directorial Kochadaiyaan, is prequel of Rajinikanth's earlier project Rana.
Director K.S.Ravikumar, who has penned the script for Kochadaiyaan and also supervising the film, confirmed the news, "Yes, Kochadaiyaan is prequel of Rana." AR Rahman is composing music for this 3D flick.
Kochadaiyaan also casts Jackie Shroff, Aadhi, Rukmini, Nassar, Sarath Kumar and veteran actress Shobana in the key roles. Sunil Lulla will be producing Kochadaiyaan under Eros Entertainment that has Rajiv Menon cranking the camera, which is getting ready to entertain the audiences in four languages Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English.
