Hrithik said no to 'Agneepath' initially
Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan in his recent interview revealed that he initially was not keen on featuring in Karan Johar forthcoming flick, 'Agneepath'. Hrithik was compelled to take the decision as he felt that the film, which is a remake of 1990 classic hit of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, would lead the audience to draw comparisons between himself and the yesteryear actor, which he certainly did not want. Hrithik declined the role, but when filmmaker Karan Johar insisted him to go through the script once and narrated it to him, the actor gave a nod to the remake.
Hrithik believes Mr. Bachchan had performed very well in the classic hit and it is very difficult to step in his shoes again for the remake. Interestingly, Hrithik is now much optimistic as well as confident about his forthcoming release, which is set to hit the theatres by 26 January.
