Arulnidhi and Iniya starring Mounaguru, which was released in the later half of December 2011, will be completing 25 days in this week.

Mounaguru had released in the limited screens during its first week later the number of shows in creased slowly and the movie got huge revenues in Tamilnadu. Mounaguru even got high box-office in Coimbatore and Kerala during the second and third weeks.

The previous year's surprise package Mounaguru was appreciated for Santha Kumar's direction, cinematography by Mahesh Muthusamy and Thaman's tunes alongside performances of the lead pair. Dhanush congratulating Arulnidhi tweeted in a microblogging site "Hearing very good about the movie Mounaguru. Have to watch it sometime. Congrats Arul. Keep up the good work. God bless."
