Lakshmi Manchu in Mani Ratnam's Tamil film
Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna who has started her acting career an year before has now hit the jackpot by bagging a role in the direction of Mani Ratnam, ace director of Indian cinema.
An ecstatic Lakshmi confirmed the news on microblogging page, "Ok..phew.. I just signed a movie with Manirathnam. My first Tamil film. He is the first man who influenced me 2 b in films. Dreams do come true."
Lakshmi is going places these days with a Bollywood film Department in her kitty and now she has sighed up her first Tamil film. The actress cum producer is also playing the leading lady in a Tamil/ Telugu bilingual Gundello Godari being made on Manchu Lakshmi Entertainments.
